My first week was super fun, tiring and boring all mixed together
I have some very cool teachers :)
And
First day of school had to fold paper boats for school's 125th anniversary

I think this will enrage some people
I feel that xiaxue is not as good as others have claimed
I went to youtube and found BETTER ladies teaching make-up
they don't use so much vulgarities
I mean, come on, if xiaxue is Singapore's representative, I'll rather vote for Ris Low.
It is not that I don't like xiaxue's fashion sense. I mean when I went to xiaxie's blog for the first time, I'm like "OMG xiaxue is so pretty."
Her contents are okay, very personal journal
But when it comes to her videos on make-ups, it is super disappointing
yeah. So no offense to xiaxue followers and fans.

I went out today with the girls
It was AWESOME!
Initially, we went to Bugis
but Clara wanted to go to Suntec City
so, we walked to Suntec and headed to the arcade
Alicia is my partner there.
We played the guns, dance, drums and hockey
-LUNCH-
We went to the Koi Garden next.
the Kois there are humongous
Clara and Gladys bought the fish food to feed. them
but it rained.
So they have to stop.
So they could not feed them continuously.
We went to the pet shop after that

The rabbits. The white one is very cute :D

This rabbit stoned there for like 5 minutes before it moved.

there are two rabbits in the bowl. The girls kept saying that the rabbits come in pairs. And both of them looks like chicks. [apologies for the spelling in the picture]

the baby hamster is very cute. it is the most active amongst its siblings.

Seriously. The guinea pigs looked like those in G-Force.

I haven't update my blog for a long time, have I?
Okay~ I shall do a summary of the SS camp.

Social Studies Camp
The two days were overall very fun and interesting
I had gotten a lot of lollipops
Yup, the lollipops
The lollipops were used to tempt us to answer his questions since the London Roll(s) didn't work :)
I had 3 lollipops the first day and 2 on the second day from the teacher.
Naz gave me hers lollipop on the first day :D
so sweet :)
HOWEVER
I lost one lollipop on the first day. D:
Someone stole it but I don't know who...
Oh well...
The teacher is super funny
His actions are a bit gay though.
Olivia told him to make fun of the guys in the class on the second day
She told him that it is what the guys wanted
LOL
And guess what?

.
He really did.
Yup.
Olivia sort if told the teacher the nicknames of the guys in the class
Some that is, not all.
Oh yeah, Keyang and Stanley were like pleading me to give them lollipops
I was reluctant to give them any at first
but I gave in
I think that's all

Choir Practice before the Actual performance
I will summarize this too yeah?
I will be too long for me to type every single detail because I had choir everyday from Monday to Friday :)
Okay to start it off, it is a super busy week
Taking charge of the choir with Caryn, time management, etc.
The seniors, meaning the sec 3s as the sec 4s have "retired", have bridging lessons (normal lessons during the holidays. Sad? Absolutely)
Miss Khor is angry with the seniors 'cos they told her they would reach QTSS at 2.30PM for practice.
On Thursday, the seniors are extremely late as they have re-examination and GESS choir had to sing Danny Boy and Cantate alone. We are like not confident in ourselves at first. Miss Khor was very sweet. :)
She kept encouraging us and in the end, we sang as good as we are with the seniors :)
On Friday, Miss Khor was like arranging the positioning and she wanted me to stand in the first row. :D

ACTUAL PERFORMANCE!!!
I was awed by The Jubilee Hall
It was so ancient. It is like it's going to break when you touch it or use too much force on it.
I think SH will like it :)
But the thing that I don't like about the Jubilee Hall's dressing rooms, they are super small to fit about 200 people into 3 rooms.
There is this stage man called Mike.
He is super funny and sociable :)
he looks like a Malay but he is a Chinese
"He cannot tan himself meh?"
His friends told Caryn, Olivia and me.
We were very suspicious of him at first yeah.
The concert was okay, borderline
Not really impressive, I guess
EXCEPT
the Phantom of the Opera :)

I got into triple science :D
I'm super happy
I'm now jumping over the moon
but soon fell when I saw the price booklist
The books are super expensive
ARGH!
I think that's all. :)

Sec 2 Ace Camp'09

I had a fun day yesterday and today but I shall update on my camp
I'll most likely update 'bout yesterday and today on another post

Day 1[21102009]
the trainers when to school at about 8am or so.
2G had got 6(or more) absentees
-boring things happened in between-
At the campsite, they trainers gave us bread
and Marcus was like giving Mr Chan the whole packet of bread when Mr Chan ask it from him [inside joke]
then we were dispatched to our dorms
2G girls stayed in a dorm that is super near the entrance and we do not have to share dorm and toilet with any other classes :D
and of course, be able to use the gents
after putting the clothes, etc, we had ice-breaking activities
[which is super redundant]
the class is separated into two groups
my group was named GG Phantom
we wanted to name ourselves pumpkin
but we thought "Nah... we want something more exciting"
Then Crissa says Phantom of the Opera or just Phantom
the trainers asked us if we want GG Phantom since the guys wanted to incude GG in the name
after the ice-breaking activity, we had outdoor cooking
so we had instant noodles, sardines, sausages and baked beans
and it taste together :)
there are some people who did not eat their lunch D:
mostly guys yeah?
after lunch, we went rock climbing
and I nearly reached the top of the rock wall
but gave up 'cos I don't feel like continuing =.="
next we went to the challenging rope course
and I love it :D
I did the one with two strings which is suspended in the air and one needs to climb up to cross it
however
there will be a rope hanging you to prevent one from falling
I stopped midway to find an easier way to cross it
then on of the trainers was like
"Eh... Why you stop halfway?"
Me: "My legs very wobbly" -looks down-
Trainer: "straighten your leg lah!"
So I did
I tried towing my foot but it doesn't work
so half of the time up there I was half towing my foot and half trying to do it the traditional way
and when I came down I heard this:
"Eh! Is she wearing track shoes"
and mentally I was =.="
Trainer: "She is wearing running shoes, yeah?" and followed by a "Are you wearing running shoes?"
Me: "yeah..."
Trainer: "why you wear running shoes? Are you in your school's track-and-field team?"
Me: "no"
Trainer: "then why you wear running shoes? I mean all the glittering and flowery here and there..."
Man...
those running shoes are my school shoes, which is like 98%(or so) white
and the only icon there is the adidas logo at the back of my shoe
=.="
ShiHwei did not complete the CRC. She slip and "fell"
Crissa and Shenny did not go across
they had only climb to the platform and come down
and the trainers were making fun of them
there are a lot of inside jokes in the whole process
Shenny was crying when she came down
reason why she was crying: afraid that Stanley will tell the others
=.="
She was actually wanting to say
"I was afraid the guys will tell the others"
HAHA
THEREFORE
Stanley got scolded for nothing and was complaining to me after he got scolded
NEXT, we went for the zip line :D
it was super awesome
before we did the zip line, we saw Lydia crying
ShiHwei and I thought it was because she was afraid of heights but the real reason she cried is because she could not reach the stand
I was one of the last few to do the zip line
At first I was neurotic but when I start to go to the opening, I started to panic
the trainer there is extremely kind
he told me to sit down [and we are suppose to sit at the opening], move slowly to the front, look down and remember to scream
and the next thing we know is, he pushed us down the 6-story high building
and the scariest thing is the line is not in a straight line
it is u-shaped
so it is like going 90 degrees downwards and up again
it is thrilling
REMARKS ON ZIP LINE:
Stanley screamed like a girl
Manoj kept saying it hurts[another inside joke]
Crissa funny when I saw her while it was her turn
Shenny was equally funny
MISS THO WENT FOR THE ZIP LINE :D

We had dinner after the zip line
my class when last and the food was surprisingly delicious
better then the usual camp food that is
after dinner we had our night walk
the night walk was super rocky
and I was super irked by Shenny
After the walk we had to stay at a field to "listen to Mother Nature"
Stanley was like complaining about somethings and got frightened by a weed
LOL
after which, we had bath time and lights out
bath time is another irritating time
I got annoyed by Shenny again

Day 2[22102009]
Assemble time: 0630
We had team bonding activities
one of them is called loop the loop
the aim of the game is to pass the loop around the circle we form and not breaking it
-some more activities happening+lunch-
we went to the nature hike after lunch
we have a very lucky nature guide
he gave us lollipop and sweets and tried some berries, flowers and leaves
then we had our campfire preparation, dinner and campfire
Mrs Tan interrupted our skit.
but we had fun
we are suppose to have an hour to do the camp booklet
but we don't have it
so the camp chief said we can have our shower first
therefore we had 2 hours of shower time instead of 1
lights out 0010

the choir girls manage to convince Mr Phoon to let us pon choir

Today is like sort of my happiest day of my life
Miss Khor came back to GESS.
I felt so, so relieved
But she is still going at the end of the year
So, we will have a concert at the end of the year :D
Okay, I maybe going back to Stamford
a 51% chance to be exact. :)

I have a concert with the Singapore Youth Choir yesterday(6/8/09) and today(7/8/09)
It was so cool!
15 choristers from my school are selected
I am one of them :D
And GESS rocks
there are 3 schools that performed with the SYC(S'pore Youth Choir)
and Miss Khor says GESS did very well :D
then she asked us if we wanted to join the SYC
HAAHAA
Olivia is super hyperactive today and yesterday
Today,
the sec ones and twos that are not performing, came to watch the concert
then after GESS performed, I checked my phone
and Jaye told me that he saw me.
I was like HUH?
then he said he is sitting at the second row.
after the intermission
I saw him.
and he was like waving to me.

First week of school and it is like...
I initially thought that if WuDi is gone to Boston,
the class would be quieter
I guess I'm wrong D:
In fact, it's a whole lot NOISIER then before
Big boss is gone and no one to control them?

Mrs Roy's lesson isn't getting any better either
She is a very STUBBORN teacher
like answers to comprehension can have more than one answer right?
But she insists that her answer is THE correct answer
ARGHHH
Note to WuDi[if you are reading this] : It is better to face 4 adults than to face a stubborn teacher :)

CHOIR IS SUPER FUN TODAY :D
We have fun day today meaning we only have games and only games :)
We were grouped into 4 groups
I am in the same group as LX [leader SharonYEO]
Clara with Gladys and Vanessa [Leader SharonLEE]
Caryn... Solo? Alone.[Leader Chris]
the first game we played is 'Can touch, Cannot touch'
The game goes like this,

eg,
`Mother can touch, Father cannot touch
`Butter can touch, Fly cannot touch
`Back side can touch, Front side cannot touch
`Lips can touch, Eyes cannot touch

get it?
No?
try doing it in front of a mirror
look at your lips and say the above ;)

Next we played murderer [MUHAHAHAH]
ShuYi turned off all the lights
I was bored and said, "Lamia~"
in a ghostly sound
and Felicia and LX screamed =.="
the Lamia thingy is quoted from "Drag Me to Hell"
I'll elaborate later
The movie have some after effects on my peers
LOL
the last round of the murderer is super funny
we played the murderer which we squeeze each others' hand
then the way LX squeezed my hand is super slow
LX was like
-squeeze hand-, -long pause(about 5-10sec)-, -squeeze hand-
So after I felt the first squeeze I said,"Oh! I die..."
then SharonYEO exclaimed, "WHAT!?"
then I felt another squeeze
then SharonYEO was like "- =.=" - I die..."
But after SharonYEO 'died', I 'died' soon after her

We went to the Areana and played caterpillar, followed by What's the time Mr(s) Wolf, A.E.I.O.U and etc
Caryn and I went to take the doughnuts, for the potluck, after playing caterpillar
When we got back to school, we went to the IStudio, wanting to put down the doughnuts
but the seniors are doing something in the room
we can her laughter, screaming, tables falling and some weird dialogues
-SOME GAMES TOOK PLACE HERE BUT I AM JUST TO LAZY TO TYPE IT OUT-
NEXT
we have lunch
then waited for 2+ hours to go in IStudio
The seniors were trying to make a haunted house
but it failed
then
the seniors let the Sec 1 and 2 to make the haunted house
but we made a haunted tunnel, with tables, instead
HAHA
We will be having more tomorrow

YESTERDAY[24062009]
There is rehearsal for the Asian Youth Games[AYG]
the choir is loud :D
the teachers said we can use the mics instead
yeah we pre-recorded the songs as we cannot be heard and is very hard as it is not a enclosed room

I'll say the drag me to hell thing the next time

I forgot to say about the haunted house!!!!!

I heard SharonYEO's voice telling me to climb the "tunnel"
after climbing the tunnel, there is a dead end
and before that they told me to find something
at the dead end
I found where all the seniors are hiding
So I sneaked behind SharonLEE[she was lying flat on the ground] and scared her
then SharonLEE declared that I found her
All the seniors revealed themselves afterwards

Haunted House by Sec 1s and 2s
We didn't really make a house
It was more of a tunnel
The seniors said that they cannot find their way out as it was too dark
and they said it was FUN :D

GOSH! Choir audition TOMORROW!
I would like to be in sop [many told me that I should be in sop 1 ><] but I'm too attached to alto D: HELP ME! I'M IN A DILEMMA NOW :(
I think I shall let it be

Speaking of choir, I have to blog this event down I find it super funny :D
There was one time I went to Macs with XP, Chris[from choir, I will only mention of her in my blog :)] and Sharon[Lee]after choir during one of the Sundays
Chris and I ate Macflurry
Sharon ate Macflurry WITHOUT oreos
XP drink vallina[sp?] milkshake but the milkshake is ice cream. So it is also counted as ice cream XP did not believe me that the milkshake was ice cream until she had difficulties sucking her milkshake then, she open the cap and said "Yupps, it is made of ice cream [=.="]"
Afterward, we had suddenly discussing the bonds in of the different levels
XP said she is the outcast in the Sec 4s 'cos she has nothing to talk with them =.=""
Sharon and Chris said the sec 3s are on good terms but not as good as the sec 2s
WOO HOO!
Sec 2s rock ;D
XP agreed on that fact she had even said that we are always together like during the HK trip and other stuff XP said the sec 2s bond very strong :)
Then XP showed Chris the ribbons we bought to make the rose which we ended up not using the ribbons
Then Chris used the thicker ribbon to put around her neck and said it is a chocker the one that ladies wear with a tube dress[she said that!]
I was looking at her for the whole time yeah and when she turned to me, she suddenly screamed[as in like AHHH]
and said "NOT TAKING PICTURES OR VIDEOS!"
LOL
seriously, I wasn't taking her vid or pics I was just looking at her! [ROAR!]
The next thing is all of us laughed
HAAHAA

okay back to today
I had P.E in the field today and the teacher allowed the girls to play captains ball
The game is real funny today
First, Clara was the goal keeper[or whatever you call it]
and she wanted to play so she swap places with Vanessa
then after a while, when we can score our goal, the opposing team blocked us, making the ball to be out.
so I passed the ball to Clara and she passed[as in literately pass, not throw] to Vanessa
HAHA Seriously everyone laughed :D
then Vanessa wanted to play so I became the goal keeper and there was once that I lost balance that I was swirling and landed on the fall in like a somewhat like the runner are going to start the run that squatting position
oh man
It's hard to explain but if you understand then it's good :D
Clara said I looked as if I was dancing
HAHA
fyi I did the 'dance move' after I have caught the ball

I'm SO happy to blog again!
My last post was on 29 Dec [NOTE: Jasmine, now you know when was my previous post? LOL]
I've got back my papers
but my grade dropped D:
I have forgot the overall marks but I remember the grades
I'll elaborate on it when I got back my report book :)

English - B4
Chinese - B3
Maths - A1 [80+ :D]
Science - A1 [also 80+ :DD]
History - C5
Literature - B4 [yay! :DD]
D&T - A1 [80.9 ^^]

Yeah. I did badly for history D:
My hist. teacher told me that she had set the hist. paper with an "O" levels standard
I like that teacher :D
She encourage me to take history next year though I did badly
she said that "it is up to the teacher to accept you in the class"
I can tell that she expected me to do well in my history like last year [I got A1 for history last year]
I initially flunked my SA1 history paper until I found out she had not marked two questions on my paper =.="
So I told her that she did not mark it and she thanked me
HAHA
my history teacher is so funny.
therefore initial history marks for the paper is 47
then added 8 marks
become 55
so happy :D
but this time my history is not that good, yeah?
I did my revision at the eleventh hour
I could have gotten my A1 for history D:
Oh well
I have learnt my lesson
I will not let history to repeat again [LOL!]

OK I'll 'talk' about today
I went to the canteen when I had reached school [I always do that] to meet up with LX, Gladys, Alicia and Manoj, ...
When I reached the canteen,
LX suddenly screamed and hid behind me
I keep asking her what happened until she pointed at something and said "there"
and she was pointing at a moth =.="
but I can't blame her
she is afraid of moths, butterfly and insects that can fly~
I took a picture of the moth and found out that the moth had a broken wing
then
Pearlyn came and LX told her about the moth
and Pearlyn said "LX, you better remove your bag before you regret"
so LX removed her bag and we saw another insect
and LX jumped
HAHA
it's funny to see how LX reacts.

Day 3[10122008]
Morning call at 7AM[again] and meet at the lobby at 8AM
We had Dim Sum breakfast at the same restaurant but some of the dishes had changed
oh yes
I forgot to mention on the previous post that the pau looks cute
but
the stuffing is made of salted-egg yolk
at first
Clara took the pau and opened it
and a liquid-like substance flowed out
and it was like orangey-yellow
after we[as in the people sitting around the table] did not take the pau
but XP could not resist eating the pau XD
so she took one
and once she opened it
she was like
ew~
but she ate the pau and said it was delicious
so
one of the sec 2[s] took a pau and opened it from the middle
and guess what?
the stuffing spurt out
HAHA
and XP took a picture of the pau
HAHA
OK
back to the day
we[as in the same people sitting around the table] were having breakfast
after the breakfast
we went to DisneyLand, again, for a performance
QTSS were wearing red top and black bottom
and GESS were wearing all black

and we changed Over the Rainbow with Cantate
as we sang Cantate better

so after the performance
Miss Khor said that GESS sang well
:D
but QTSS was a little nervous
and so we went for lunch
and two alumni sat with us
but the Sec 2[s] did not sit with us

I sat in between Lixian and XP
so the alumni had a funny idea
she was like
"Let's have a competition with the other table. I will tell them okay?"
and she went off to tell the other table

but in the end
she had forgotten about the competition

after lunch
we headed to Cognitio College
and performed there and also watch their performance
at the end of the performance
we had a tea break
and had to exchange souvenirs with the students
then
XP and me had a chat with some of the students
that student told us that she knows some Japanese
and said Kawai means cute while Kowai means scary
and then she was like
"the o and the a that is different. One is kO and the other is kA... ..."
HAHA
that girl is very funny
after visiting the College
we went shopping

we were suppose to go Ladies Street
but the tour guide says Ladies Street stuff are very cheapskate
so we went to another place instead
that place was still OK
but I have no idea what to buy
so XP and I went around window-shopped
XP wanted to buy a perfume
but she didn't buy because we thought it was expensive
but we bought a bear instead
after shopping we went for dinner
dinner rocks
it was seafood dinner
there was lobster, steamed fish, crab, prawn, scallop and ABALONE!!!
I love the dinner :D
the Alumni had a mini wedding
it was so funny
after dinner
we went past a pastry shop and bought some
finally
we went back to the hotel
at the hotel
we had at party at the Vanessa's room
we had pizza

but clara was like packing her stuff
but she knew there is going to be a party at her room
but she is she fed up by the fact that people is in her way
XP and Esther came over and went as they wanted to bathe
but they said they would be back
but they did not come

so after eating the pizza
Lixian and I went back to the room as Lixian was tired
and I am holding the key
at the room
the seniors were doing exercise

and Lixian was laughing while they were doing the exercise
afterwards
the seniors had a walk around the hotel
and they took the key

someone knocked the door
and the WHOLE alumni was at the door
saying "TREAT OR TRICK~"

the game was fun but I don't know how to describe it

and when we were about to sleep
the seniors came back
and did their exercise

and then we went to sleep

Day 4[11122008]
Morning at 6AM and meet at the lobby by 7.30AM
Last day in Hong Kong and we have a flight to catch
we went to a different Dim Sum restaurant
and this time
Miss Khor was sitting with us
and the first thing she asked us was
"Did I miss anything?"
HAHA
the food she meant
then she asked us what time did we sleep at the previous night
and XP was like 12-1
and Miss Khor was like "so early!? When I was your age, I don't sleep at all during camps"
HAHA
after breakfast
we went to Ocean Park :D
It was so fun!
At first
XP, Esther, Shimin and me went to see the pandas
they were so cute
There was a panda called An An who was awake
and then XP saw the characteristics of a panda called Jia Jia and said she was like her
and the characteristics are "Shy, quite and have good mothering qualities"
and she saw another panda and said that panda's characteristics was like me
and the characteristics are "活泼，好动，好奇"

then we went to take the cable car
it was so cool!
we were even higher than the eagle

but the cable car stopped half way

and we were all shocked
but it moved eventually
after riding the cable car
we went to ride the Mine Train
it was a roller coaster
and it was cool
but I'm still not so used to riding a roller coaster
since that was my second roller coaster ride
after the ride
we went to have lunch
XP didn't have her lunch
she ate Ice-cream instead
after lunch we went to ride the pirate ship
IT was so cool!
then we went to the aquarium
the aquarium is awesome
it was cool but worth to go there
I like the jellyfishes the most
it changes its colour with the colour of the water

after the aquarium
we headed for the exit
and the choir went to the airport to check in our luggage
I was sharing the trolley with Lixian and XP
lest the luggage overloads
the counter attendant would not care because there are three people

Hong Kong was FUN!

Day 1[08122008]
I reached the airport and had breakfast there
the plane trip was OK
I am sitting next to XP and the window
XD
The view was beautiful :D
it look as if I was standing on a sea of clouds :)
then we landed at about ...
-I forgot the time, I'll need to ask :\-
There is suppose to have a tour guide waiting for us
but it seems he was late
-.-
but it's OK :D
at the hotel, we waited for a while
then our teachers told us the rooms was not ready -.-"
so we had to put all our luggage into two rooms
then we had lunch
lunch was OK
we had to occupy 3 tables
we had duck, soup, rice and I can't remember the rest :\
then we proceed to the city tour
Hong Kong's scenery is beatiful :)
and there are a lot of eagles there
and almost every minute, you can see one aeroplane flying past
HAHA
the best part of the city tour was the one-way tram ride
the tram is like going up at a 45° angle
and we had dinner and go back to the hotel :D
and we had a short choir pratice and got the room key
I was staying with Lixian and two other seniors
and we got the room that Lixian and me put our luggage

Day 2[09122008]
Morning call at 7AM and gather at 8AM at the hotel lobby
the Alumni was last for half and hour
D:
we had a Dim Sum breakfast
It was delicious :D
After breakfast
we went to DISNEYLAND!!!!
I was with the Sec ones at first
but I followed XP later on
At first with the sec ones
I went to the Space Mountain
I didn't know it was a roller coaster until Soph told me =.="
so I sat with Clara and was screaming when the roller coaster turned and fell
at the end of the trip
I felt a little nauseous
and my limbs all go jelly
but it was fun and exciting :D
then I saw XP at the exit :D then we go to another game
but I forgot the name of the game
and so we went to 'it's a small world' and saw our seniors
and the boat(or ride) was occupied by GESS students
HAHA
after the ride
we went to Fantasyland [the space mountain is in Tomorrowland]
and we saw XP again!
so we had lunch together :D
after lunch
I followed XP[as the sec ones including me is odd-numbered as was XP's]
and then we went to 'it's a small world' as XP hadn't gone there yet
and she promised her mum to tape the ride down
so I went there[again] with them
and when we got out of the ride for a minute or so
the clock there rang
and XP tape[d] the thing down
then we proceed to Adventureland
and rode the Jungle River Cruise
I nearly got wet D:
after that
we went to Trazan's Treehouse
and went back to the main street
and guess what
we saw a drawing of Mickey, Goofy and Pinocho(sp?) on the floor with water
then we rode the train around DisneyLand
and then we stayed at the Main Street to watch the Christmas Parade
then we walked around, waiting for the fireworks display
Oh yes
there is 'snow' in DisneyLand
it was soap or dish washer
XP says it was like Mama 柠檬
At 8PM we went to the centre of main street to watch the fireworks display :)

Queenstown Secondary School and Yusof Inshak Secondary School came to my school for a workshop

Miss Khor was there too :D

anyway she was the one who organised the workshop =.="

Miss Khor want GESS and QTS to practice for the Hong Kong trip

So QTS will be singing Homeward Bound first

the GESS - Over the Rainbow

Finally GESS and QTS - Colours of The Wind, Like an Eagle, 夜来香

So when GESS is singing Over the Rainbow

Miss Khor kept on praising us

haha

Then told us to sing Cantate and Cerf-volant :D

She says we sound good but there was not enough people D:

and she also said that the good schools all ave good voices like us but 2 times the number of members

So we need to 'grab' more people :D

My brother is going Melaka today with the whole level
and so the whole family woke up and go to my parents' shop after bringing my brother to school
The Melaka trip my brother is going is a 1-day trip
so which means the whole level assemble early in the morning, have fun in Melaka and come back to Singapore at night

Sing to the Dawn rocks
I watched Sing to the Dawn yesterday with XH
we caught the 3.30 show at Plaza Singapura
we were initially late for the show as we arrived at the cinema at 3.35+
and we thought we could not catch the show
HAHA...
After the show
we went home by bus
and at the bus-stop
we saw FFD and FFC
HAHA
such a coincidence
plus we saw them at the library last time while we were revising our for our exams
HAHA...
I am having choir later
but we have to attend a concert at the Esplanade

Phew~
a tired day today
I went to Malaysia to shop
OK
I'll type down the happenings

The front stuff 'cos it is just some simple stuff
At the Malaysia custom
dad, my bro and me checked in at the Singapore Passport counter
and Mummy checked in at the Malaysia Passport counter
the three of us queued up for about two hours or so
mummy checked in immediately as the queue was short for her
and wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy long for ALL the Singapore Passport counters
AND SO
after the long queue we went to City Square Kim Gary Restaurant at about 3pm-4pm for lunch
it is a Hong Kong restaurant and we seem to go there all the time
I ordered chicken chop cheese baked rice and cold Yin Yang
My bro ordered fish cheese baked rice and Chinese tea
dad ordered beef baked rice and hot coffee
and mummy, the most special one, ordered Spaghetti chicken chop with ham and sausage and cold coffee
My bro and I ordered Red Bean something and apple something respectively
I forgot the name though
but I know is something like ice kachang
and before I forgot
Yin Yang is something like latte a combination of coffee and tea
after having lunch
we went SHOPPING
I bought clothes
LOTS and LOTS of clothes
LOL.

my budget is RM300
however
the clothes there is quite cheap
therefore it could buy enough sets of clothes for me
at about 7.30pm
we went for dinner
well
a light one
we went to a place in City Square called Inner City
and in there is a Japanese Restaurant

we took quite some time to decide whether to take the bus or the Teksi
haha...
I mean taxi
Teksi is the Malay word for Taxi
but still
we decided to the bus instead as it is cheaper and faster
and so we got home late
and when I am about to open the window in my room
I saw a small lizard

I was so shocked at first
but I got it off in the end

The choir is going to Hong Kong for an exchange program or something
the original price was $1175
but with the school's subsidy

The story is about a Chinese[from China] coming to Singapore to work in the past

and so yah da, ya da, ya da,[some bring stuffs]
when we were just about to start the run
we saw two guys[who I do not want to mention]
kissing and then holding hands in front of everyone!!!

and the kissing is not lips to cheeks
but it is lips to lips!!!
but one of the guy was forced to kiss the other one

Crissa ran with me during the run
but we kept stopping and running 'cos the teachers told all of the pupils to stop

Today is the starting of the new semester
:)
and I've got preparatory run for the cross-country run
5rounds around the 2.4 track
it is very tiring
maybe I have not exercised during the holidays
now my knees hurt for running a long distant
ouch!!
Oh yeah!
Everybody looks quite different today
Crissa cut and rebonded her hair and she looks like a doll from the back
some of my classmates thought she is a new student
haha
but still she looks good
I don't have lessons to day
expect for Science and Maths 'cos the rest of the day my form and buddy form teachers are doing some administrative stuff
and I have a new buddy form teacher
her name is call Miss Ng
She has a weird slang
it sounds like Malaysian-Chinese who is talking English
My form teacher told me that the sec ones are going to learn swimming this term week 4
oh gosh!!
I do not know how to swim!
but luckily Vanessa do not know how to swim too!
so there is a very high possibility that both of us will be in the same swimming class
there is also a crime talk today
the policeman who is talking about it is quite funny
but he showed us a video about a man who went to jail and got cane and blah, blah...
the part where the man was cane is the one I've watched before
so Vanessa and I were like looking away and talking to Soph and Crissa and among ourselves when the video is playing the caning part
It was seriously scary
they even show pictures of the prisoners who got cane!

We made 2 types:
One is wrapped with prata and the other one is wrapped with seaweed

the beverage is drunk up by everyone and the sushi wrapped with prata is
eaten off also

I played in netball my class came in 4th

The groups we played with is either too tall or play rough

The HOD of P.E said that we are celebrating International Friendship Day today

It's been raining for the past few days...
In fact almost rained everyday from the first day of school till now

I had PE today
I did 5MX-5 Main Exercises
my PE teacher try to be generous all the work up almost do 10 times
the work up includes pumping

My class did on the quartrangle
the hands are so pain~

I found out where I am going to go for the ACE camp
It's in a hostel according to my DM
The girls will be sleeping in the bedrooms for 2 nights

the P.E teacher is the very serious type person
only some times tell some jokes but most of the time very serious

he took my class's height and weight
after taking it he said that my class a lot of pupils underweight

My CD(Character Development also known as CME) teacher told my class that half of the class will be going to the Zoo for CIP
I'm one of the half of the class

we are going to the Zoo to collaborate Racial Harmony Day with the old folks
and we are grouped into groups of 4

The two boys from my group are childish
One of the boys actually did not want to plan where to go what to do when we are in the Zoo
so he said that his IQ is -100
so the other boy said his IQ is -1000
and they kept saying their IQ is -*something*
Vanessa and I were very irritated

Ipoh is also known as san seng which means "city surrounded by mountains" in Cantonese. Ipoh is located in the rich tin bearing valley of the Kinta River. It grew up as a mining town. During the British Colonial Era, Ipoh was the second city of Malaysia. Its railway station is an excellent example of the architecture of
this period. It is situated in the "Old Town" of Ipoh..

Places of Interest

Perak Tong

Perak Tong, a limestone cave temple, is located at Jalan Kuala Kangsar, 6km
to the north of Ipoh. This temple houses over 40 Buddha statues, the centre
piece being a 12.8m high sitting Buddha. Beyond the main altar, there is a
passage which leads into the iterior of the cave. After a step climb of 385
steps, the cave open agains to reveal a wonderful view of the surrounding
countryside. On the walls of the cave, a visitor will find himself fascinated by
mystical mural paintings. A passage which leads into the cave's interior. One
will definitely be fascinated with the mystical mural paintings found on the

Sam Poh Tong
Another famous cave temple is the Sam Poh Tong temple, located in Gunung Rapat. This temple, said to be the biggest cave temple in the country, is an impressive work of art and faith, with various statues of Buddha interspersed among natural stalactites and stalagmites. According to legend, the cave was discovered way back in 1890 when a monk from China who was passing through Ipoh, found the cave and decided to make it his domicile and a place for meditation. The monk remained there for 20 years until his death. Till today, nuns and monks who dedicate their lives to Buddha still occupy the Sam Poh Tong. The present temple facade dates back to the 1950s and a stiff climb of 246 steps will lead you to an open cave with an excellent view of Ipoh City and its surroundings. Other attractions at the temple include a beautiful Japanese pond full of Japanese carps and tortoises (symbol of longevity) located outside the cave and a vegetarian restaurant. Located in Gunung Rapat near the Kek Lok Tong, about 5 km south of Ipoh City.

I've discussed this problem with my teacher

THE SOUVENIR(letter) FROM MY TEACHER WILL BE KEPT FOREVER

I know it hurts real bad when someone you trust is your good friend and she does this to you.Well, take it as an eyeopener. Now, you know the true picture of this "friend" earlier than later.Friends are everywhere. We can make new friends and treasure the true friends for the rest of our life.

Today went to Rivervale Primary School for a ISLAND WIDE heritage trail

And Mr Goh's girlfriend(Miss Low who came later)

okok the programme goes like this...

Reached school at about 7am and left immediately
There's no bus bring the seven of us there
so we flagged a taxi
hehe
Mr Goh don't seem to care if we are bringing handphone
but he is worried who do not have handphone
apparently
only Mr Goh, my brother and myself brought handphone

taxi only can occupy 4people(1 in the front and 3 at the back)
so we split up
Mr Goh, Ma Yuyuan and Lin Xi go to one taxi first
Jordan, Fouzul, my brother and me seat in another taxi which we flagged much much later than them
but
we reached the school earlier than them

According to the trio
the taxi driver went to River Valley instead of Rivervale Rd at Puggol
so I called Mr Goh when we reached there
he told me to go to the school canteen
after putting down the phone
Jordan wanted to call his mum
so I lent him my phone
woah!!!
The little fatty sure can talk
from the bus stop to the school canteen
then one of the teachers told us to go to the hall when he passed me the phone to talk to his mum
after talking to his mum
I passed the phone to Jordan
and that little boy still talking on the phone
until when Mr Goh is about to arrive
then after the briefing
we went to the school's music room and the Cati garden
we went to the *something* battle field
I looked at the bus the directory
then told them to take bus 82
Mr Goh said we are going to Puggol Rd so take bus 89
man!!!
He is WRONG!!!
THAT STUPID BUS WENT TO PASIR RIS
so we need to waste our perious money to go to that dumb dumb isolated place!!!

THE NEWBIE TAXI DRIVER I FLAGGED DON'T KNOW WHERE TO GO!!!
AND I ALSO DON'T KNOW WHERE TO GO!!!
LUCKILY I SAW THE SIGN BOARD OR ESLE FOUZUL, YUYUAN, LIN XI AND MYSELF WILL GET LOST!!!
When I reached the "battle field"
I found out that Mr Goh, Jordan and my brother is at the back
then quickly look for clues
after looking for the clues we headed back to the bus stop and to the MRT Station
many people having breakst there
everybody execpt Mr Goh, my brother and I went in to buy breakfast
Jordan bought a coke that cost $6
Lin Xi bought 100plus which I have no idea how much it is
Yuyuan and Fouzul bought kit kat
when the people who bought food had ate finished and the people who bought drinks kept their drinks in their bags
then we went in to the MRT station to take the train to Orchard
on the way into the MRT we then found out Jordan is without his ezlink card
man
everyboday's jaw dropped
so my brother asked him:
"So you get on the bus without paying."
guess what Jordan said...
"Yeah"

My maths got 94/100 marks for the prelim!!!!
I'm very happy with my result ok?
Last year NEVER get 90 and above
this time got 94
but NEARLY got the same marks as CHENGE
2 more marks...
Found a careless mistake...
The section B 2marks part 'sob'
Yesterday CHENGE told me that he got 99marks for maths
he bluff me

today I have no science supplementary class because MRDESOUZA
marking the science paper
he told us that MISSLEE marking for 6/1...
so after school I wait for my brother
I go library to wait for him
When I went in the library
I saw SHUHUI doing her math set something

At the first page
we saw the unborn baby in the mother's womb
SUHAIL kept pointing and "saying"

CHEGE kept on telling him to shut up

Then CHENGE hid in the hole at the table there[near the computer room there]
he said that he do not want to let SUHAIL "read" the book

Today I had my 1.6km run
Came in 3rd among the girls
Came in 6th among 'sob'
Fangdi, Cahrishma, Ain[6/1] and more never wear PE shirt

Quite easy

Anyway, I came LATE today

Went all the way up to four floor then remember need to go hall to do a survey=.=
Anyway I saw Jillian in class [she just come also]
So we went to the hall together

Then go for the 1.6km run
BECAUSE of the run

Today during chinese class,
ZECHUAN suddenly go to the sink there and stayed there for a long time
when MISSCHIA asked him what had happened
he said he is killing ants
HAHS
Then the seat behind me[chinese class]
FUYU says there is a lot of ants
ZECHUAN[who was still at the sink 'killing' the ants]
came to my place there
he took the hand wash shampoo container
FUYU told ZECHUAN to put some hand wash shampoo on the ants
He did what FUYU said and FUYU went to take ZECHUAN's bottle and pour the water on the ants
Most of the ants flood[died] on the water
After that
ZECHUAN took a broom and actually and swept the ants flooding on the water and hand wash shampoo
I told him not to do that but he didn't listen
then the ants flooding on the water and hand wash shampoo turn soapy
MISSCHIA noticed ZECHUAN is not in his seat
saw him near my place
then reprimented him
FUYU told MISSCHIA he is 'killing' ants
She go near my seat and saw the floor very soapy
she told ZECHUAN to wipe the soap
ZECHUAN go take the cloth and wipe the ants flooding on the water and hand wash shampoo

like want to burn my paper

During Chinese class
MISS CHIA gave us back our normal MT paper

After school

IFD[International Friendship Day]
I did the catwalk[MEOW!]
representing SINGAPORE.[aka Miss Singapore]
The catwalk is mainly made up of the 10 ASEAN countries
6/1 also doing a slide presentation on ASEAN[Association of South-East Asian Nation]
XINYAN actually WAS doing the pledge taking thingy
BUT he suddenly had nose bleed-_-|||
Poor Junita must do the pledge taking thingy
On the way to class,
CHARISHMA gave me me a BAG of sweets[and chocolate]
for recess
But worst still JILLIAN also bought a BAG of chocolate(s)
Recess time,
FANGDI, KYLIE,JILLIAN, NAT, SHALINI,CHARISHMA and me eat chocolate[yum yum]
As we eat, the last packet of Kinder Bueno
At first CHRISHMA snatched it away
Then she ran
Me and my other girlfriends gave chase
I caught CHARISHMA and "pin" her to the wall
She accidentally dropped the chocolate
SHALINI got the chocolate and SUDDENLY dropped it
Then KYLIE got the chocolate she ran and took the wrapper off while she is running
Then the bell rang
She took out one bar of chocolate and ask which one of us wants the second one
Everyone go to KYLIE and wanted to snatch the chocolate
she said,"When I throw the chocolate, anyone catch it, the chocolate will be yours."

My tang ges[tang means your cousin with your sir name and ge means big brother]

come to my house for reunion dinner.
They came at about 3.30pm
Before they came to my house, I was showering
Scary man, the shower[the one you shower with]
suddenly no water
I panick[sp?]
Then I found out the hose break water leaking out
I was like OMG

1st DAY OF CNY
It went well and I had a lot of ang paos
All of my cousins, aunty and uncle came
At the evening my grandma and my other cousins "gamble"
I think it was kinda fun so I went to see my garndma play
She play until half way through she said she wants me to take over
Then I was like ok~

I went visiting
I put on make-up and wear my favourite dress

I went out with my mummy, daddy and my brother. We went to Jurong Point to a Chinese restaurant. We eat shark fin, [yum n . n]roasted chicken and scallop[spelling?]. We are bloated. Afterwards, we go guardian and buy presents for me .

Go to school have 10mins extra to play/eat/talk with friends. 7.25am the bell rang. Went up then Xing Hui gave me the birthday present...
Mother Tongue See Kim gave me the birthday present followed by Vanessa. Miss Chia never come so we split class. Then the school clerk call for one pupil to go down the staff room to take the PSG(Parent Support Group)form. When I was going out Kylie came. She also take for 2/5 'cos they didn't go down and take. We are about to go one school staff went down and told us to wait. Then tell us to follow her. She took us to the sick bay and gave us the pads.I take for 6/1. See Kim take for 6/2 and Kylie take for 6/4 and 6/3. Kylie said,"很paisei leh"
After Mother Tongue
All the students come back. I'm the first, followed by Fangdi. Then few more students come back she told the whole class to sing the Happy Birthday song for me. So almost the whole class sang the song. -_- Scary man. Then Mrs The came in. Fangdi said,"Mrs The today is Yu Ting's Birthday." Then Mrs The said that today is my birthday and say happy birthday to me. Now she make the problem even worst.

MiSS Head Prefect = Me! Yes! It's ME. Wooh~ I am surprised, really surprised. I mean why me not Kylie. She is the Asst. head prefect last year and she is the asst. head prefect this year also -_-... Ok never mind about that... Ricky is NOT a prefect anymore. [yay ^.^]
So is Wei Ye and Zhi Qiang.

Yesterday, Mike said he wanted to change his badge. He said there was writting on it. He said," 后面有名字的。Tan something something Ye的." I told Mike to show me the badge. He did. Then I showed Kylie. We looked at each other for a while and laugh. Behind the badge there is "Tan Wei Ye 5/1" written behind but the words are not so clear. Some if the words are like gone.
Yesterday still, during class, Mrs The called me to do some sums. So I did. Maybe she saw my badge, then she said," Yu Ting is our head prefect, the school's head prefect, the P6's head prefect." The boys in the class were shocked they said,"HUH!? Not Ricky meh?" I think Mrs The shook her head she said that the school had made a good decision.

My birthday also coming. The school let me to be head prefect. HAHA!! That is the birthday present I got from the school. HAHA!!

Yesterday, I went up stage say the pledge and went down stage. I walked pasted Mr. Lim. He said it is very good. HE LIKE IT. Good that means I am doing fine. Ok the funny thing about yesterday is when I say please stand, some of the P1s said,"Stand up lar, take your bag!" or "No no need to take the bag!" and "Sit down!!!". OK, never mind about this the worst is Some of the P1s really NEVER stand![or maybe they sit through the whole assembly] HAHAHA!! It's so funny!!!! I really want to laugh.

Today, taking temperature, washing thermometer, BLAH BLAH BLAH... ...

Christmas is coming nearer and NEARER and NEARER and NEARER. [YAY] Today, mum's friend gave us LOG CAKE to eat. [yum yum^.^]Since Christmas is round the corner, then i will put in some Christmas song in my blog.

Eat,eat and eat. This Sunday going to my 3rd aunt's house to eat turkey, play with dogs, Christmas Day's celebration, meet cousin.Yesterday, I went Coronation[Forget how to spell it]Road and go to a Western and Chinese food restaurant for dinner. Mum eat fried rice and drink coffee, Brother eat chicken chop and drink sprite, dad eat something like chicken chop[but it is a set dinner with apple pie]and drink coffee also.

Speak about Casey, she slept in her food bowl[although she can't sleep in her bowl any more LOL]on Tuesday[19th December 2006]. Wednesday,[20th December 2006]she bit my brother's finger, maybe she was hungry as her bowl was EMPTY so she bit him but I can't let her have a habit of biting people, so I hit her. After an hour, I went to her cage and wanting carried her, she ran away from my hand[sob].Maybe she was angry with me. OK bye~

Sorry long time never update:p... ... Today I have tuition.The tuition's not bad.The
teacher[Mr James Chi]taught me English,Maths and Science.Saturday->English and Math
Sunday->English and Science.Oh yah... last Tursday's post need to do some correction.
The tuition fee cost $250 include deposit.Arh... long time never see my Stamfordian friends. Wonder how are they... I bet Kylie will get a lot of present. Aiya nothing to "write" BYE~

Yay holidays are here but its SOOO fast. Never mind 'bout that. Yesterday, my mum bought a new Adidas watch for me [though I didn't ask for it] and one for my brother. [cos she have $80 TANGS vouchers]The watch is not so expensive. Tomorrow my brother and I have tuition. The reason I have tuition is my English is BAD and I meant it, it is real BAD. Hell teeth, I need to go for Pri5 tuition also. It cost $250.00 includes English[of course] , Maths and Science on Saturday and Sunday.Aiya never mind la, won't die one, at least can improve my English. [So PSLE no need to cry] On Sundays I would go to the library and borrow some english books.

Yesterday night cannot sleep. Don't know why but still cannot sleep. Then today morning 4a.m wake up. Try to go back to sleep but cannot. Holidays are here, most of the time play and the rest of the time either help mummy to do work or study for PSLE. Very scared next year have PLSE. This year Wang Qing got the highest. She got 268 marks. Chern Yue[the boy amitted to the hosipital] got 255 marks. This year's PSE highest mark in Singapore is 281 mark.[an indian girl from raffles girls got it]Gotta study hard. Bye~

Holidays are here all of my 5/1[2006] classmates saying
“Sa-yo-na-ra” to me and I am gonna say the same thing to them. I’m gonna go 6/1 next year and ALL of my ‘girlfriends’ are going either 6/2, 6/3 or 6/4 next year.[ So sad to see them leave].
Xing Hui, Eefa and Sun Ming going to 6/3. Kylie, Fuyu and
Vanessa gonna go 6/4. Me and Sanya gonna go 6/1. I dunno which class is the rest of my ‘girlfriends’ going to, but I will miss them. Good bye friends, I will miss you.

On 17 Novemer 2006 is the school’s concert and prize giving day. I went to school because I am in choir and a singing solo in Kyrie Eleison. Daddy, mummy brother went there. But went off at 10:00AM and I went up stage on 10:10AM. So sad they had went off. I nearly cried when I went up stage, cos I didn’t see my parents and brother. Oh never mind.

Food and Water
The hamster should be fed a basic hamster mix each evening as it wakes and can also be fed additional supplements. If your hamster wakes very late it can be encouraged to wake earlier by feeding earlier in the evening and tapping on the side of the cage to wake the hamster. After a few days the hamster will learn when it is feeding time.
Fresh water should always be available from a position your hamster can reach comfortably. Pet Shops also sell vitamin drops which can be added to water and are beneficial to the hamster. The hamster should never be without access to water.
Grooming
Hamsters do not need grooming, with the exception of Long Haired male Syrian Hamsters who may need the occasional brush to remove shavings from their coat which is best done using a soft toothbrush.
Hamsters do not require bathing as they clean themselves and to bath a hamster removes the natural oils from the coat and there is a risk the hamster will catch a chill. Hamsters do appreciate having a dish of sand to roll in though and this helps to remove the greasiness from the coat - remember in the wild they live in deserts so this is natural for them.
Cage Cleaning
The cage should be cleaned weekly by removing the hamster from the cage and throwing away all old woodshavings and food. Any fresh food that may have been stored by the hamster should be removed after a couple of days to avoid it rotting. The hamster will appreciate it if some of its old bedding is placed in the clean cage along with some fresh bedding.
Health Checks
When you clean the cage you should check the hamster over for any signs of illness. This is an ideal time to check that the droppings in the cage look normal: soft droppings could indicate diarrhoea, lack of droppings could indicate constipation.
Handling your Hamster
Most hamsters can become tame in a very short space of time with gentle regular handling. Hamsters normally only bite because they are frightened.
If your hamster is a bit jumpy or nervous it is a good idea first of all just to get it used to your hand before attempting to lift it out of its cage. Try gently stroking the hamster while it is in its cage and offering it pieces of food from your hand. It will soon realise that it has nothing to fear.
Next try placing your hand in the cage and letting the hamster investigate, and step onto your hand, whilst keeping your hand still.
Once it is happy that there is nothing to fear, take off the top of the cage if possible or open the door of the cage, and gently scoop the hamster up in both hands. Do not hold it too tightly or squeeze it as this may frighten it.
Don’t lift your hamster too high as if it jumps from your hands and falls it may injure itself. It is always best to handle your hamster whilst you are sitting down so that if it does jump it does not have far to fall and will simply land in your lap.
Once you have taken your hamster out of the cage, and are sitting, face the hamster towards you - they seem less inclined to jump if facing towards you. Let the hamster walk from one hand to the other. If your hamster does attempt to jump, let it and then simply pick it up again. It is better to do this than try and hold onto the hamster which may cause it to become frightened. Once it is happy to step from one hand to another, gently start to curve your fingers around it’s body so that it can begin to get the feel of being held.
Before long your hamster should be happy to walk from one hand to another with your fingers wrapped around its body and you can then start facing it away from you whilst you are sitting down and letting it walk again from one hand to another.
Some hamsters are more nervous than others and may take a little longer to become accustomed to being handled. Be patient and gentle and your hamster should become very tame.
If your hamster is really frightened or has had a bad experience being handled and bites whenever handled, try handling it whilst you wear a pair of gloves and handle it as indicated above. The wearing of gloves will help your confidence which in turn will help the hamster. Once the hamster stops biting you can move to handling the hamster without gloves.
Don’t handle your hamster directly after you have been handling food. Hamsters have extremely poor eyesight and rely on their sense of smell - if you’ve just been eating an apple, the hamster will smell this on your hand and think that your hand is an apple and may have a nibble!
Syrian Hamsters are quite easy to handle because of their larger size. Russian hamsters tend to be a little more lively and are not quite so easily handled by small children. The Chinese Hamster is often a delight to handle as they just sit on your hand and use their paws to cling to your fingers - it is often difficult to remove a Chinese from your hand! Another point worth noting about Chinese is that if they are nervous they have a habit of emptying their bladder on your hand! Roborovskis are extremely lively and fast and therefore not a pet that is easily handled. They need to be cupped in your hand to avoid them running away, but they very rarely bite.
Younger children should be supervised when handling hamsters as they may unintentionally squeeze a hamster, causing it to nip or injuring it.
